Pets are not permitted on the island.

Are visitors from outside allowed to enter the resort?

Access is restricted to registered in-house guests only.

Dining and facilities are reserved exclusively for in-house guests.

Can non-staying guests enjoy the Spa?

Spa facilities are exclusively for in-house guests.

Is drone use allowed?

Drone usage is not encouraged to ensure guest privacy.

Do you provide wheelchair access?

Yes, most public areas are wheelchair-accessible. Kindly share any specific requirements in advance so we may assist.

Is there a buggy service in the resort?

Yes, shuttle (buggy) services are available at the resort.

Can we bring a baby stroller?

Yes, baby strollers are welcome.

Is babysitting service available?

Yes, baby sitting services are available at additional cost. This may be booked in advance or during check-in.

Are amenities for infants available?

Yes, limited baby amenities are available upon request. Kindly let us know your requirements.

Is there Wi-Fi available?

Yes, complimentary (free) Wi-Fi is available.

Can we use the resort amenities before check-in time?

Yes, guests may enjoy resort amenities while waiting for their villa to be prepared. Lockers and changing rooms are available.

Do we need to provide a deposit during check-in?

Yes, a deposit will be collected upon check-in.

What is your payment policy?

All reservations require full credit card payment at time of booking. Credit cards will be charged in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) using the daily Bankers Buyers Rate.

Do you provide toiletries in the room?

Yes, toiletries are provided in each room.

Is there a beach bag in the room?

Yes, a beach bag can be found in the closet.

Do you provide a prayer mat?

Yes a prayer mat can be provided, kindly inform our travel centre of your requirements ahead of your stay.

Can I request an additional bed for a third person?

The daybed can be prepared with a pillow and blanket in Tropical Garden, Tropical Hill, and Beach Villas. These rooms fit up to 2 adults and 2 children. Kindly inform our travel centre ahead of check-in.

Are baby cots available?

Yes, baby cots can be arranged. Please contact us ahead of your stay so we may make the necessary arrangements.

Can I bring my own sleeping bag for an extra adult?

We do not recommend this due to comfort and space limitations.

Are connecting rooms available?

Yes, there are limited connection room / balcony rooms, these are available in limited units of Tropical Garden and Tropical Hill Villas. Kindly inform our travel centre ahead of making your reservation to request connecting rooms. Please note that these are subject to availability.

How many elevators serve the Hill Villas?

There is one elevator serving the Hill Villa area.

Which villa type is recommended for elderly guests?

We recommend Tropical Garden Villas and Beach Villas, as they are close proximity to resort amenities and dining such as Feast Village, Uncle Lim's Kitchen and Royal Bay Beach Club.

Does the resort provide room service?

We have a limited menu available for Villa service.

Do the villas have Netflix?

Guests may enjoy Netflix in the Screening Room.

Is it possible to swim directly from the Sea Villas?

No, swimming is permitted only at Emerald Bay.

Can we fish from the Sea Villas?

Fishing from villas is discouraged to protect the natural marine life around our resort. Fishing excursions can be arranged seperately with the Concierge.

Dietary Considerations
Is the food at the resort halal?

All dining outlets are pork-free.

Do I need to pre-book meals?

Breakfast and lunch are based on a first-come, first-served basis. Dinner reservations are required in advance to secure your time slot, these reservations can be made at check-in or by contacting our resort team here.

How do we book a private dinner?

You may pre-book through YTL Travel Centre or arrange with the Concierge upon check-in.

Can we bring our own alcohol?

Yes, guests may bring alocoholic drinks to the resort. Kindly note that corkage fees apply in restaurants and public areas.

Do you have a children’s menu?

Our service team are happy to recommend menus suitable for children, kindly let us know during mealtimes.

Does the resort provide baby food?

Yes, simple items like porridge or fruits can be prepared upon request. Kindly reach out to us to let us know your requirements.

Do you offer flowers for special occasions?

Yes, floral arrangements and decorations can be arranged at additional cost. Kindly reach out to us to let us know your requirements.

What celebration decorations do you offer?

We offer decorations for Anniversaries and Birthday celebrations. For guests celebrating a birthday, we offer a complimentary slice of cake served during dinner time. Additional requests may incur charges, and are subject to availability.

How do we book water sports?

Reservations can be made directly at the Water Sports Centre on walk-in.

Are life jackets available for infants?

Life jackets are provided for children aged 2 and above.

Does the resort provide tennis rackets?

Yes, complimentary tennis rackets are available.

Do we need to book the Recording Room?

Yes, advance bookings are required.

Yes, foreign nationals travelling with Malaysian residents are eligible as well.

Which restaurants are included in the Residents’ Package?

Feast Village, Chapman’s Bar, and Uncle Lim’s Kitchen are inlcuded. Other venues will require a top-up payment, you may contact us to find out more.

Does Pangkor Laut Resort have a rainy season?

The island is generally unaffected by monsoon seasons, but checking weather closer to travel is recommended.

Is parking complimentary at Marina Island Jetty?

Parking is chargeable at a daily rate, our porters will assist upon arrival.

How many passengers can your land transport accommodate?

Our vehicles comfortably seat up to 4 adults with limited luggage.

Are there EV charging facilities at the car park?

EV charging stations are currently unavailable in the Marina Island Jetty car park.

How many passengers can a scheduled speedboat accommodate?

A scheduled speedboat can comfortably seat up to 12 passengers.

Is the speedboat transfer safe for pregnant guests?

Yes, it is safe. Please inform us of guests who are pregnant so we may take additional care.

Are third-party boat transfers allowed?

No, access to the resort is only via our scheduled speedboats or private resort boats.

Can we charter a boat from Pangkor Island to Pangkor Laut Resort?

Yes, private charter arrangements can be made with additional charges. Please contact our travel centre for arrangements.

Can we pay for the private charter boat upon arrival?

Yes, payment can be made upon arrival.

What is the best way to travel to the resort from Singapore?
Recommended route: Fly from Changi Airport to Ipoh Airport.
Land transfer to Marina Island Jetty be arranged as well. Kindly explore more on our getting here page.
