Pangkor Laut Resort offers many activities for guests.
A centerpiece of the Resort is Emerald Bay, considered by independent travel consultants as one of the most beautiful
beaches in the world. If you feel more adventurous, you may accompany the Resort's resident naturalist on his daily trek
through the rainforest. The Concierge will also be delighted to help you with suggestions for excursions and island-hopping
opportunities. |

beach.

| Sembilan Island Adventure |

Pulau Sembilan is Malay for
'Nine Islands'. Cruise in style onboard a teakwood oriental junk
to the nine islands that give
this destination its name. We drop our anchor
in a sheltered cove and it is up to you to tailor
your day; snorkel, swim, or go ashore to laze
on the empty beach. A sumptuous barbeque lunch is
served on a secluded beach, accompanied by refreshing non-alcoholic beverages to quench your tropical thirst.

Two luxury yachts are available
for charter should you wish to explore the Straits
of Malacca and the surrounding islands. Regardless
of whether you opt for a cruise to nowhere or
onwards to a specific destination, you'll enjoy
breathtaking views and have the option to drop
anchor at any point to fish, swim, or laze on
deck to soak up the sun.

This leisurely sunset excursion
provides the perfect setting for a romantic
evening. Cruise around the Island on board the
Resort's tongkang-style teakwood boat. The boat
will anchor at Emerald Bay where you will enjoy
refreshments while you witness one of the world's
most beautiful sunsets. From there the Captain
will sail off to a quiet cove where you'll be
served a delicious four-course dinner.

Guests staying at Pangkor
Laut will enjoy special privileges at the Royal
Teluk Rubiah Country Club, which is approximately
15 minutes away from Lumut. This club offers
an 18-hole golf course. There is a dress
code that has to be adhered to.

Tai Chi Quan is an extensive system of therapeutic
breathing, postural and moving exercises, designed to develop inner stamina and circulate energy.
Not only is the physical body exercised, but the energy
systems of the body are also stimulated and mental functions enhanced.
This activity is available from 8.30 am to 9.20 am daily at the Spa Village. Tai Chi Quan is complimentary if you have a spa treatment booked or if you are a Spa Villa guest.

Learn the art of South East Asian cooking under the careful guidance of our skilled chefs. Enjoy a day of pleasurable activities which include breakfast with the Chef, tour of the Feast Village, visiting fish traps around the island, cooking and a spa treatment.

Experience the romance of sailing with the wind on sparkling emerald seas past nearby islands on a private yacht. An exclusive barbeque lunch will be served on a quiet beach,
returning to Emerald Bay at dusk. 'The Impian' seats 6 persons comfortably.

The Batik Hut, located near the bus-stop at Emerald Bay, is where you can shop for hand-printed batik wear (shirts, blouses, pareos and scarves), as well as handbags made from 'mengkuang' leaves.
Daily batik painting classes are also conducted in the afternoon.
